Tradition Meets Innovation
Entrepreneurial Responsibility
Quality at the Highest Level
As Global Center of Excellence, we define the standards for innovation and quality within the CCL Clinical Business Unit of CCL Industries. Development, material, and market expertise have made CCL Faubel one of the world’s leading providers of labels and special markings for clinical trials and pharmaceutical products. Using state-of-the-art technology and high-quality materials, we create user-friendly labels.
The entire company operates a quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001 : 2015 and in compliance with the GMP guidelines. This also meets the stringent requirements of GMP-based audits.
Our processes, equipment, and control systems are validated. Camera and sensor-based control and testing facilities contribute to a fully documented quality management system.

Environmental Protection
Environmental protection and resource-efficient production are our top priorities. Photovoltaic systems are installed on the roofs of our newer buildings to harness renewable energy. Process heat is used to heat indoor spaces, and water pipes regulate the building climate. CCL Faubel sources paper, films, inks, coatings, and adhesives exclusively from certified suppliers.
All materials are free from benzophenones, the inks are made from renewable resources, and the paper comes from trees specifically planted for this purpose. Surpluses and waste are recycled. Since 2023, we have been certified according to DIN ISO 50001. With the introduction of an energy management system, we are continuously striving to improve our energy efficiency and the associated processes.
